Visit the Tasting Room to taste a selection of our wines or brews while you enjoy a tempting appetizer.

Our wine tasting bar is open during regular business hours and closes 1-hour prior to regular closing time.

We offer a dry wine tasting which is a combination of (7) 1-oz. tastes of white and red wines. We also offer a fruit/sweet wine tasting consisting of (7) 1-oz. tastes of fruit and sweet wines. Cost is $10.00 and $7.00 for Members. Each month the Village Vintner changes the wines on the tasting to ensure you are enjoying something new each month.

It goes without saying that tasting is largely about having fun. But for those looking to glean the most from the wines on pour, swirling is a great way to aerate the wine and intensive the aromas. For maximum control, hold your glass by the stem, place your glass on a flat surface and swirl while grasping the stem.

When tasting, hold your glasses by the stem rather than the bowl; holding them by the bowl coats glasses in greasy fingerprints and can disturb the temperature of the wine (ideally it’s been poured at just the right temp).

Inhale deeply before taking a sip; wine’s aromas comprise one of its most beguiling offerings! Upon drinking, swirl the wine around in your mouth to ensure it coats all the surfaces; we pick up different texture and flavor sensations in different parts of our mouths.

Taste white before red, dry before sweet, light-bodied to full-bodied. While enjoying your tasting read the descriptions and notes on the tasting sheet which will help identify aromas and notes you may find in our wines. The Vintner also notes food pairings which work  with each of our wines.
